How much does a BEDEUR bed cost?

The popular complete BEDEUR Nº3 model in the 180 × 200 cm size is currently priced at CZK 160,000. This price includes the topper, mattress, box base, and headboard. The mattress alone is priced at CZK 99,000. Healthy sleep at an accessible price.

What is the difference between the individual models?

The main difference lies in the composition and layering of natural materials (horsehair, wool, cotton, silk, cashmere, and either springs or latex). The higher the collection, the more layers it includes. Each model also has a defined height of the box base, mattress, and topper.

In simple terms, the entry-level collections are cotton and wool-based, the mid-range collection features silk, and the highest collection is defined by cashmere.

What is the maximum bed size you can produce?
Our beds are made to order, so we are not limited in terms of dimensions. Standard sizes range from 90 cm to 260 cm in width and 200 / 210 cm in length. Larger sizes can be produced for an additional charge.
What is the delivery time?
Our standard delivery time is 4 weeks from the signing of the order and receipt of a 50% deposit. If you choose a premium fabric sourced, for example, through designers, or leather, the delivery time may be extended. Delivery times are also longer during the summer shutdown period.
Can I have a bed without legs?
We recommend at least low bed legs (a minimum of 5 cm, ideally 10–15 cm). Natural materials need to breathe and ventilate properly to prevent moisture build-up. Another reason is ease of maintenance and better access when using cleaning equipment such as mops or robotic vacuum cleaners.
What determines the height of the bed?
The optimal bed height depends on your body height. When sitting on the bed, your feet should be in contact with the floor and your knees slightly bent.
Can the mattress and box be split into two parts?
Yes, it depends on whether you prefer the mattress as a single piece or split into two parts. When choosing larger bed sizes, it is advisable to consider dividing the lower part (the box base) and, if necessary, the mattress as well — primarily for ease of delivery. In the case of latex mattresses, splitting is almost essential from sizes around 160 × 200 cm due to the weight of the latex itself.
Can a mattress have two different firmness levels?
Yes, it is possible to have a mattress with two different firmness levels even when the mattress is made as one piece. This is achieved by adjusting either the spring firmness or the density of the latex within the mattress. However, it is always advisable to combine adjacent firmness levels, such as Soft and Medium or Medium and Hard. Combining Soft and Hard may, over time, lead to visible differences, as mattresses naturally respond to body weight and compression during use.
Do BEDEUR beds feature different spring firmness zones?
No, and to the best of our knowledge, this approach is not used in production. In our beds, springs are distributed evenly across the entire surface in a single firmness level selected by the client (Soft, Medium, or Hard). Zoning works naturally because the springs are housed in individual pockets — each spring functions independently and supports the part of the body that naturally applies pressure while lying down. Medium-firm springs are always used in the box base.
What is the difference between a spring bed and a latex bed?
Springs create active counter-pressure and respond dynamically. Latex has passive firmness and does not generate counter-pressure. Both options are high-quality and durable. The latex concept is 100% natural.
Can the bed include storage space?

We do not recommend it. The main advantage of BEDEUR beds is the ventilation of all layers. Adding storage space reduces airflow, meaning the bed breathes less than we would like.

However, we can create storage as a bespoke solution, where the storage compartments replace the box and are filled with appropriate materials.

What warranty do you offer on your beds?
  • Lifetime warranty on the bed frame, bed legs, and headboard
  • 30-year warranty against damage to the metal springs in the bed frame
  • 10-year warranty against sagging of the main mattress (sagging is defined as permanent deformation or a mattress depression exceeding 3 cm)
Are BEDEUR beds suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes, our beds are made from materials whose quality is certified, for example by the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certification.
